Restore & Protect your greatest investment
Cleans Dirt, Mold, Mildew & Bugs for any siding or decking material
The Best Power Washing Method for OBX Homes:
Low-Pressure Power Washing
vs. Soft Wash
Why we offer Low-Pressure Power Washing and not a soft wash for your Outer Banks home?
While both methods will clean your home, the difference lies in the lasting results. Low-pressure power washing uses a small percentage of sodium hypochlorite in a 200-gallon tank of fresh water. This powerful solution effectively kills mold and mildew, preventing it from growing back for years. A soft wash, on the other hand, uses biodegradable products that do not kill the bacteria, meaning mold and mildew will return much quicker.
The humid Outer Banks weather creates the perfect conditions for mold and mildew growth. You can often see this growth on deck boards, underpinning, steps, and siding. We advise low-pressure power washing your home every 2-3 years to maintain your decking and siding and to prevent damage from long-term growth.
We pride ourselves on being upfront and honest with our clients. If we aren’t confident our system will give you the results you’re looking for, we will let you know.
Please note: We cannot guarantee that surrounding plant life will not be affected. We make every effort to thoroughly spray all plant life with fresh water during and after a chemical clean. However, temperature, water levels before a clean, and plant life cycles all play a part in how they respond.
